Catch Wolfe Wave breakouts early – Before the swing confirms
Wolfe Wave Navigator identifies the 5-point Wolfe Wave structure and uses Momentum and Candle Behavior to confirm Point 5 earlier, so you can prepare for the breakout before the move gets underway.
What is Wolfe Wave?
A Wolfe Wave is a five-point price structure used to spot potential reversal setups and project where price may move as it returns toward equilibrium.
The structure unfolds through 5 connected points:
1 → 2 → 3 → 4 → 5
(Picture)
Together, these five points form the Wolfe Wave structure, with Point 5 marking the potential reversal area:
- Bullish Wolfe Wave: A structure that points to a potential down-to-up reversal.
- Bearish Wolfe Wave: A structure that points to a potential up-to-down reversal.
See Point 5 before the swing fully forms
Point 5 is where the Wolfe Wave reaches its potential reversal area. But waiting for a Swing Point to fully form can make you wait for the market to confirm what is already developing.
In a conventional approach, Point 5 is established only after price completes its reaction and forms a sufficiently confirmed Swing Point.
By the time Point 5 is confirmed, the reaction may already be underway. You can still see the setup – but you are seeing it after the market has given you more of the move.
Wolfe Wave Navigator takes a different approach to Point 5 with Early Mode. It reads the reaction as it develops through 3 forms of evidence:
- Momentum – how strongly price is moving
- Candle behavior – how price is behaving within the move
- Price reaction – how price responds around the potential Point 5 area
Together, they help you recognize Point 5 while the reaction is still developing, rather than waiting for the swing to fully confirm.

The difference is not about predicting the reversal before it happens. It is about removing the wait for a completed Swing Point – so you can see the setup while it is still developing, rather than discovering Point 5 only after the reaction has already progressed.
And when a breakout begins to develop, you are not starting from zero. You already have the Point 5 context in view.
Two modes – choose how point 5 is confirmed
Traders can look at the same chart and still identify Wolfe Wave differently. And finding Wolfe Waves manually means constantly watching for new swings, checking how each point relates to the others.
Wolfe Wave Navigator replaces that subjective process with a defined set of conditions for recognizing the Wolfe Wave structure – so you can apply the same recognition logic from one chart to the next, without repeatedly rebuilding the pattern by eye.
You can choose between Confirm Mode and Early Mode to identify a Wolfe Wave setup – each using a different approach to Point 5.
- Confirm Mode: Waits for the Swing Point to fully form at Point 5, providing confirmation based on the completed swing structure.
- Early Mode: Evaluates the developing Point 5 reaction through Momentum, Candle Behavior, and Price Reaction, allowing Point 5 to be recognized before a complete Swing Point is established.
Points 1–4 continue to follow the same underlying swing structure in both modes.

One Wolfe Wave. Three ways to read the move
A Wolfe Wave does not end when Point 5 is identified.
The same setup can develop in different ways – a reversal reaction, a breakout, or a continuation move.
Without clear signals for these key events, identifying the Wolfe Wave is only part of the process. You still have to watch the chart and interpret what price is doing next, deciding for yourself whether the setup is reacting, breaking out, or continuing.
Wolfe Wave Navigator gives you three signal types to help read these different stages of the move:
1. Early Reversal
- Appears at Point 5 when Momentum, Candle Behavior, and Price Reaction confirm the developing reversal.
- Identifies the potential reversal reaction at Point 5 without waiting for a completed Swing Point.
2. New Wave confirmed
- Triggered when price breaks the line connecting Point 2 → Point 4.
- Confirms that the previous wave has ended and a new wave is developing.
3. Trend continuation
- Triggered when price breaks the line connecting Point 1 → Point 4.
- Confirms that the current trend is continuing.
Plus: A clear reference for target placement
Once a Wolfe Wave setup is identified, the 1–4 line provides a reference for target placement – giving you a defined level to watch as the move develops.
Breakout → 1–4 Line → Target
Go beyond the Wolfe Wave pattern
Finding a Wolfe Wave is one thing. Knowing when Point 5 is taking shape, what price is doing next, and where to reference the target is another.
Wolfe Wave Navigator brings the process together.
It scans the chart for the underlying 1–4 swing structure, gives you a choice in how Point 5 is recognized, and marks the key signals that can appear as the setup develops – whether price reacts, breaks out, or continues.
That means less time spent manually rebuilding Wolfe Wave structures, less reliance on interpreting the same chart from scratch, and a more consistent way to evaluate setups across charts and sessions.
You can see the setup earlier.
You can follow what happens next.
And you have a defined reference for where the move may be heading.
Not by predicting the market – but by giving you a clearer way to read the Wolfe Wave as it develops.
