Unless otherwise specified, future updates & upgrades to the core product are included with your purchase at no additional cost.
Products already at v2
For products that have already reached v2, free future upgrades apply to v2 licenses.
Since these v2 releases were introduced under the previous paid-upgrade model and the transition to v2 is already well underway, the free-upgrade policy applies from v2 onward.
Products with a modular structure
A very small number of exceptionally complex products may be developed using a modular structure due to the extensive, long-term research & development such products require.
In these cases:
- The core product receives free future updates & upgrades.
- Optional expansion modules may be offered separately.
Definitions
When used without further qualification, updates & upgrades refer to improvements, fixes, optimizations, compatibility updates, and new capabilities made to the core product.
Expansion modules are optional, standalone components that introduce substantial new workflows or functionality beyond the scope of the core product. They are not required for the core product to function.
