2. Drawing Trendlines
Uptrend Trendline: Automatically drawn by connecting 2 adjacent Bottom and Higher Bottom swing points.
Downtrend Trendline: Automatically drawn by connecting 2 adjacent Top and Lower Top swing points.
3. Triggering breakout signals
The indicator generates a signal whenever the price crosses the trendline:
It triggers a breakout signal in a downward direction, indicating that the price continues to decline when a bearish candle closes below an upward trendline.
It triggers a breakout signal in an upward direction, indicating that the price continues to rise when a bullish candle closes above a downward trendline.
4. Detecting when a trendline is breached
You have the flexibility to control when a trendline is breached by specifying the required number of candles with closing prices surpassing the trendline.

This is my story, I ordered the Day Range indicator for NIFTY India. To my dismay, it didn't work well as it calculated ranges in ticks. I asked Larry Pi if there was a workaround, and he created a new version with all the choices for range unit: points, ticks, pips.
