How does it work?

1. Identifying Swing Points:

The indicator caters to your preference with 2 tailored modes:

• Mode: Base on Neighborhood: Ideal for those who prefer analyzing market movements with a single timeframe, it identifies swing points based on the range of candle count.
• Mode: Base on Swing Length: Crafted for those who enjoy analyzing market movements across multiple timeframes simultaneously, it identifies swing points based on the change in Tick/ATR, ensuring consistency when changing the timeframe.

2. Drawing Trendlines

• Uptrend Trendline: Automatically drawn by connecting 2 adjacent Bottom and Higher Bottom swing points. 

• Downtrend Trendline: Automatically drawn by connecting 2 adjacent Top and Lower Top swing points. 

  

3. Triggering breakout signals

The indicator generates a signal whenever the price crosses the trendline:

• It triggers a breakout signal in a downward direction, indicating that the price continues to decline when a bearish candle closes below an upward trendline.
• It triggers a breakout signal in an upward direction, indicating that the price continues to rise when a bullish candle closes above a downward trendline.

4. Detecting when a trendline is breached

You have the flexibility to control when a trendline is breached by specifying the required number of candles with closing prices surpassing the trendline.

If the number of candles with closing prices exceeding the trendline is below the user-defined threshold, it is identified as a fake breakout. Consequently, the trendline doesn't conclude but rather continues to extend.
