Product Description
This is a classic indicator remade by ninZa.co. But why is it "superior"?
We just added an offset high and an offset low to form an upper cloud and a lower cloud.
The offset can be defined in multiple units: ninZaATR, standard deviation, or channel range. If the market closes inside the upper cloud, we have an uptrend initiated. If it closes inside the lower cloud, we have a downtrend initiated. This is a simple yet awesome way to categorize market phases. Superior Donchian, therefore, helps you ride a massive trend to the very end for the highest profit possible.
In this indicator, ninZaATR is used (instead of regular ATR) for better performance. For your information, ninZaATR is ninZa.co's special ATR version that helps improve indicator performance significantly on intraday charts. - Plot the traditional Donchian channel
- Add an offset high & an offset low to form an upper cloud and a lower cloud
- Allow calculating the offset based on ninZaATR, standard deviation or channel range

- Colorize bars to clearly show uptrend vs downtrend
