Unlike traditional moving averages that rely on fixed periods, MESA Adaptive Colorized 4U employs a dynamic approach to trend identification. 

This indicator utilizes fast/slow limits instead of conventional fast/slow periods to automatically adjust and plot the MAMA (MESA Adaptive Moving Average). 

The FAMA (Following Adaptive Moving Average) is then derived from the MAMA, creating crucial crossover signals that indicate market trends:

  • A bullish trend is signaled when the MAMA crosses above the FAMA.
  • A bearish trend is signaled when the MAMA crosses below the FAMA.

This is my story, I ordered the Day Range indicator for NIFTY India. To my dismay, it didn't work well as it calculated ranges in ticks. I asked Larry Pi if there was a workaround, and he created a new version with all the choices for range unit: points, ticks, pips.
