Karthik Dynamic RSI Pro – Adaptive RSI for modern markets
Instead of relying on fixed overbought/oversold levels (like 70/30) used in traditional RSI, Karthik Dynamic RSI Pro automatically adjusts these zones based on recent price action.
The Karthik Dynamic RSI indicator uses a central baseline and calculates dynamic upper and lower thresholds, allowing it to adapt to current market conditions — no need to manually adjust levels!
For example:
- In high-volatility markets, the thresholds expand to reduce false signals.
- In low-volatility markets, the thresholds contract to detect smaller movements.
The calculation formula in Karthik Dynamic RSI Pro is more advanced than the standard RSI. It includes:
- Average market volatility
- Adjustment coefficients to respond to changing price dynamics
These features make the indicator more responsive to short-term shifts in trend and momentum.
The Pro version includes 2 types of signals, along with enhanced features such as signal filters and smoothing options for improved customization and cleaner results.
1. Strong Trend Signals
- When the RSI plot crosses above the dynamic upper threshold, it indicates strong bullish momentum.
- When it crosses below the dynamic lower threshold, it indicates strong bearish momentum.
2. Early Entry Signals (Centerline Crossovers)
This is a great feature for traders who want to identify trend changes early.
- Crossing above the centerline = Early bullish signal
- Crossing below the centerline = Early bearish signal

Dedicated NinjaScript Signals
- Signal State: 1 = overbought, -1 = oversold, 0 = middle
- Signal Center Crossover: 1 = DynamicRSI above Center line, -1 = DynamicRSI below Center line;
- Signal Trade: 1 = bullish, -1 = bearish, 2 = center crossover upward, -2 = center crossover downward, 0 = no signal
