Bollinger %B Pro builds upon the traditional Bollinger Bands, offering a fresh perspective on market momentum and improving how traders interpret Bollinger Bands Percent B movement within a complete Ninjatrader Bollinger Band strategy.

What makes Bollinger %B Pro apart from the conventional Bollinger Bands?

Bollinger Bands	Bollinger %B Pro
Consists of 3 lines: middle band, upper band, and lower band. These bands indicate price volatility: the bands widen as volatility increases, and contract as volatility decreases. Directly shown on the price chart. Easy to observe price movement outside of the bands (breakout). Lacks a specific measurement indicator.	A simple indicator showing the position of the price in relation to the Bollinger Bands. Determines the precise position of price within the Bollinger Bands. Displayed as a separate line in the subpanel. Easy to see where the price is relative to the upper and lower bands. %B can be measured on a scale from 20 to 80, making it easier to quantify the price position.

1. Identifying overbought/oversold conditions

Bollinger %B Pro helps you identify more reliable overbought (OB) and oversold (OS) zones using two clearly defined %B threshold levels displayed in the subpanel:

Threshold: Overbought: This level gauges the extent to which the price has approached or exceeded the upper Bollinger Band. When %B crosses a high threshold (near or above 100%), it indicates that the price is in an overbought zone and may reverse.
Threshold: Oversold: This level measures the extent to which the price has approached or exceeded the lower Bollinger Band. When %B drops below a low threshold (near or below 20%), it indicates that the price is in an oversold zone and may reverse.

Bollinger %B Pro shows that price is in an oversold zone and could reverse.

2. Providing 2 key signals

BPB (short for Bollinger Percent B): Indicates strengthening bullish or bearish momentum.

Bollinger %B Pro indicates strengthening bullish or bearish momentum.

R (short for Resume): Signals the return of buying or selling momentum after a period of weakening.

3. Colorized candles based on momentum

Bollinger %B Pro dynamically adjusts the candle color intensity based on buying and selling momentum, helping you better visualize different phases of market strength.
