1. Identifying overbought/oversold conditions
Bollinger %B Pro helps you identify more reliable overbought (OB) and oversold (OS) zones using two clearly defined %B threshold levels displayed in the subpanel:
- Threshold: Overbought: This level gauges the extent to which the price has approached or exceeded the upper Bollinger Band. When %B crosses a high threshold (near or above 100%), it indicates that the price is in an overbought zone and may reverse.
- Threshold: Oversold: This level measures the extent to which the price has approached or exceeded the lower Bollinger Band. When %B drops below a low threshold (near or below 20%), it indicates that the price is in an oversold zone and may reverse.
2. Providing 2 key signals
- BPB (short for Bollinger Percent B): Indicates strengthening bullish or bearish momentum.
- R (short for Resume): Signals the return of buying or selling momentum after a period of weakening.
3. Colorized candles based on momentum
Bollinger %B Pro dynamically adjusts the candle color intensity based on buying and selling momentum, helping you better visualize different phases of market strength.
