What Is Entropy Voltex?
Entropy Voltex is an entropy-based market condition indicator designed to identify whether the market is structured, transitional, or chaotic in real time.Â
Instead of focusing only on price direction, it helps you understand whether current market conditions actually support a trade.
The indicator includes 2 dedicated analysis modes:
Time-Based Mode: designed for standard candlestick charts, allowing traders to apply entropy-based analysis within traditional time-based workflows.
Renko Mode: optimized specifically for Renko charts, providing clearer entropy transitions and more structured market condition analysis.

How Entropy Voltex works
Entropy measures the level of order or randomness within market behavior:
Low Entropy â structured and stable price action, where continuation is more likely and market noise is reduced.
Mid Entropy â transitional conditions, where momentum begins to build and new directional moves can develop.
High Entropy âchaotic and unstable conditions, where price action becomes noisy, inconsistent, and less reliable.
Based on these readings, Entropy Voltex classifies the market into 3 distinct phases:
Stable Phase (Low Entropy) The market remains structured and directional, with stronger continuation potential and reduced noise. Conditions are more favorable for holding positions as trends continue to develop.
Transitional Phase (Mid Entropy) The market starts transitioning away from stable conditions as new directional pressure begins to form. This phase can help traders identify new entry opportunities while managing existing positions.
Chaotic Phase (High Entropy) Price action becomes erratic, inconsistent, and more prone to reversals or failed moves. Market conditions become less reliable, making it more favorable to stay out rather than initiate new positions.

This is my story, I ordered the Day Range indicator for NIFTY India. To my dismay, it didn't work well as it calculated ranges in ticks. I asked Larry Pi if there was a workaround, and he created a new version with all the choices for range unit: points, ticks, pips. He was with me all through the process, with very short turnaround cycles. So don't hesitate at all to pick what you want! You won't regret.
