Product Description
This indicator just works on INTRADAY charts. It does NOT plot weekly, monthly, yearly… pivots.
FAME SuperPivot is a one-of-a-kind pivot version based on ninZa.co's special formulas. It was named after a senior developer of ninZa.co’s who is in charge of this indicator.
The pivot calculations are based on previous day's range and price action analysis. The pivot point (PP) is automatically re-arranged to smartly adapt to today's open. Therefore, FAME SuperPivot is immune to the common problem that most of pivot indicators suffer: big gap. If today's open makes a very big gap, other pivots may turn useless because they don't handle this or the handling is very limited. However, FAME SuperPivot has a special algorithm, making it adaptive to any gap size.
An amazing feature of FAME SuperPivot is inside bar & outside bar analysis (on daily charts). If an inside bar or outside bar is detected, special formulas are used to calculate pivot levels, correctly reflecting those special price action situations.
Another amazing feature is unlimited S/R levels. By default, there are only 4 pairs: S1/R1 through S4/R4. However, when the market expands beyond S4/R4, extended levels will automatically be generated to help you always have enough S/R, no matter how far the market booms or busts. They can be S10/R10, S20/R20, S50/R50... Unlimited!
Another (yes, another) amazing feature is offset adjustment. For your info, offset is the difference between PP and S1/R1. If today's offset is too large or too small compared to the previous day's offset, our special algorithm will automatically adjust today's offset down (if it's too large) or up (if it's too small) until it fits within the ratio threshold you define: between today's and previous day's offsets, there must not be any offset that is at least X times the other (default: X = 1.8). This smart algorithm helps stabilize the offset and therefore sweetly solves the problem that other pivot types face: today's S/R levels may be either too expanding or too collapsing, which causes difficulties for trading.
Middle zones are highlighted to remind you of a choppy region where the price action has not developed a clear trend. When the market breaks above/below the middle zone, a marker is printed and alerts are triggered to notify you of a possible upcoming trend (or a fake breakout).
