We’ve answered the questions you’re probably thinking! Below you’ll find answers to the most common questions about the Greenz policy and how it works for your indicators.

A. Policy Overview & Transition

1. I bought my indicator before November 1, 2025. Does it follow the old or new policy?

All indicators purchased before November 1, 2025 stay under the old lifetime updates policy. That means nothing changes for your existing purchases – you’ll still receive updates for life, exactly as promised.

The new Greenz policy applies only to products purchased from November 1, 2025 onward.

2. You promised lifetime updates before. Is that promise still good for us who bought earlier?

Yes, absolutely. We’ll keep that promise just as it was made. 

All indicators purchased before November 1, 2025 will continue to receive lifetime updates, exactly as originally stated.

The Greenz policy only applies to purchases made on or after that date. Nothing changes for what you already own – your previous purchases stay fully covered under the lifetime update commitment.

3. If I want to upgrade or re-download an indicator I bought before November 1, 2025, will I need to pay anything?

No, you won’t need to pay. Your indicator remains part of the lifetime updates group, so you can re-download or upgrade it anytime – just like before.

As long as your purchase was made before November 1, 2025, you’ll keep enjoying all updates at no cost.

4. If my indicator stops working after a NinjaTrader update and I have to pay to make it compatible again, how is that still “lifetime”?

“Lifetime” means you can keep using the version you purchased for as long as you want – it never expires.

If a future NinjaTrader version changes in a way that breaks compatibility, your current indicator will still work perfectly on your older NT8 platform. 

So you’re never forced to upgrade or pay anything extra – the choice stays yours.

5. Could your policy change again in the future? How can I trust this is really the final model?

We understand why you’d ask. 

We took our time to design the Greenz model before launching it. It’s built as a long-term, sustainable approach that’s common in the software world. 

Our goal is to keep things consistent and fair, not to change direction again.

 

B. What Greenz is & Why

6. I noticed the upgrade fee is 20%. What’s that based on? Is this just to make more money, or does it really help improve indicator quality?

The 20% rate follows a common standard in the global software industry for renewal or maintenance plans.

It’s not about increasing revenue – it’s about building a sustainable foundation for long-term quality. 

This model allows us to focus on enhancing existing indicators, improving stability, and delivering updates more regularly instead of constantly releasing new products just to stay afloat.

7. If I bought my indicator during a discount, is the 20% fee based on the discounted price or the original one?

It’s calculated from the original listed price at the time of renewal, not the discounted one.

8. Some vendors still give lifetime updates. Why don’t you do the same?

We totally understand that – it sounds nice in theory. But over time, lifetime updates make it harder for developers to keep improving products.

With Greenz Time, we can focus on maintaining and upgrading the indicators you already use, instead of rushing to release new ones just to stay afloat.

 

C. Coverage & Maintenance

9. If the NinjaTrader platform releases a new version and my indicator stops working, but my Greenz Time has already expired, will I still get an update to fix it?

If your Greenz Time has expired, updates and fixes – including those needed for new NinjaTrader versions – are no longer covered. 

You can renew Greenz Time anytime to receive the fix and regain full support. 

If you prefer not to renew, your indicator will continue to work normally on the older NinjaTrader platform.

10. What if I just want bug fixes, not new features – do I still need to renew?

Bug fixes and small improvements are always free within your active Greenz Time. 

Keeping it active ensures you’ll continue to get important maintenance updates that keep your indicators stable and reliable.

11. How do you decide what counts as a major version versus a minor update?

A major version is any update that brings big changes to features, performance, or the interface – for example, moving from v1 to v2.

Minor updates, like v1.1 or v1.2, are smaller improvements and are always free while your Greenz Time is active.

12. If my Greenz Time ends, can I still download the updates I got before?

Yes! Any updates you received while your Greenz Time was active remain available to you, even after it expires. You won’t lose access to the updates you’re already entitled to.

 

D. Renewal & Management

13. How will I know when my Greenz Time is ending?

We’ll send you an email reminder before it expires, with a quick link to renew. We’re also developing a feature so you can check your remaining Greenz Time right in your user account.

14. If I renew before my Greenz Time expires, will the time be added on?

Yes. If you renew early, your new Greenz Time will be added to the remaining days. You won’t lose any time.

15. Is it possible to renew Greenz Time for more than one year?

Yes, you can renew Greenz Time for up to 2 years at once. It’s a convenient option if you prefer not to renew every year.

16. Is there a Greenz Time bundle for multiple indicators?

We’re working on a Greenz Time bundle for customers who own multiple indicators. It’ll make it easier to renew them all at once – and with a nice discount too.

17. I’ve got a few indicators from you. Do I have to renew each one separately?

Each indicator comes with its own Greenz Time, so renewals are managed individually.

If you plan to renew several indicators together, feel free to contact our Support team. We can help arrange a combined renewal and offer a better rate whenever possible.

 

E. Support, Refunds & Transfers

18. Does the Greenz policy include priority support?

Yes. One of the benefits of the Greenz policy is priority support. 

You’ll receive faster responses and, when needed, our team can also provide remote assistance to help resolve your issue more efficiently.

19. What if I don’t like an update after renewing Greenz Time – can I get a refund?

If you renew Greenz Time and find that an update isn’t what you expected, refunds aren’t available since updates are delivered as digital software.

However, we always stand behind our products. If an update contains a major issue or doesn’t match its description, we’ll fix it promptly, provide support, or offer fair compensation where appropriate.

20. If I switch from indicator A to indicator B, can my Greenz Time be transferred?

Yes, your Greenz Time will automatically carry over to indicator B once the exchange is completed.
